On November 23, at 2 p.m., OP System inaugurated its newly built facility with service workshop and sales office in Landskrona. Lanskrona's municipal councilor Torkild Strandberg held the scissors in the company of the OP group's owners, staff and a large number of customers and suppliers from several countries.
The new building, which was produced by Ylab AB, is an investment of approximately SEK 95 million. For that, they got a super modern and well-thought-out building of 6,000 m2, with a machine hall, service workshop, laundry hall, office, spare parts warehouse, shop and an airy exhibition hall. Here, OP System sells and services recycling machines from a number of leading suppliers, including Doppstadt, Sennebogen, Rubble Master, Zemmler and Demarec.
The facility, which is right next to E20/E6 and road 17, will also be the headquarters for OP System Norden. Everything is well thought out, from the well-disposed surfaces to the materials, which are almost exclusively iron, wood and concrete. The property also has office spaces of 12–600 m2 for rent, not least on the top floor for those who want a fantastic view of the Scanian landscape. On the roof, preparations have been made for the installation of solar panels eventually, all to minimize the environmental impact.
In honor of the day, several machines from OP Systm's suppliers were on site, including Sennebogen's material handler with unique battery technology and a so-called Telehandler that combines the reach of a telescopic loader with the strength of a wheel loader in a unique machine. There were also a number of crushers and drum screens from Doppstadt, sifters from Rubble Master, Steinert separators for separating non-ferrous and ferrous metals, Zemmler drum screens with unique double screens and Demarec quality tools for various types of recycling and demolition work. The sister company OP Höglunds, which designs and manufactures truck superstructures, showed off a timber truck with a timber trailer, a chip truck with a chip trailer and a load changer wagon.
On site were also suppliers to OP's store, including Kramp, Abkati, OKQ8 and Gelins.
The ribbon is cut by municipal councilor Torkild Strandberg, in the company of OP Systems' owners Mats Olofsson and Sten Persson and Linda Willhag, marketing manager for the Nordic region. The turnout was great at the opening ceremony in OP Systems' large exhibition hall.
OP Systems' new facility is right next to E20/E6 and road 17.
